- Laura Paterson Review added: 2018.07.12★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I feel awful giving this low score, as Shahi used to be a favourite of mine a few years ago. But our recent visit demonstrated food almost unrecognisable from years gone by.
On the plus side, the service was beautiful - friendly, attentive, and genuine.
Sadly the food was less so. The curries were sweet to the point of cloying, the chicken tikka seemed like it had possibly once seen spices on telly, and the pakora was just... odd.
Please Shahi, bring back the loveliness of food to match the loveliness of your staff!
